Sorry, the day got away from me! I imagine some of you have already called it a day and won't see this post until you wake up on Day 26. In that case, tell us how you did yesterday with your writing. ;-)
Here's the sometimes-true quote of the day:
1. How has your inspiration clubbing gone today?
3. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most positive, how are you feeling about your writing efforts today -- and why did you choose that number?
4. The "answer if you feel like it" question: What do you do to get yourself inspired, if inspiration is attempting to elude you?
Here's the sometimes-true quote of the day:
You can't wait for inspiration, you have to go after it with a club.

1. How has your inspiration clubbing gone today?
- I'm writing!
- I'm researching!
- I'm editing!
- I'm taking a break!
- I'm wishing I had time to write, but I'm just too busy with other things...
3. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most positive, how are you feeling about your writing efforts today -- and why did you choose that number?

Date: Monday, April 25th, 2011 22:37 (UTC)2: 300 words. As noted, I'm not sure if that's good or bad. *lol*
3: Still doing math homework (confused by half-life, which is bad as I'm a geology major), so still not doing things with numbers. Besides, I'm so weirded out by my writing efforts today that I'd probably need to answer something like "cube root of infinity". ;-)
4: Like littlebutfierce, if inspiration is eluding me, I'll often decide to ignore writing for a fixed time and then try again. (During that time, of course, I'll keep an eye out for prompts or fests that feel like they might inspire me.)
If I have a specific story or batch of stories to work on but just don't feel like the words are "clicking", I'll make a commitment to write something down, even if it's dreck. That's usually only during fic_rush, though (that being my timed-writing event of choice).
