Tell us how your day has gone, writing wise:
Awesome!
Pretty good.
On schedule.
Okay.
Like crap.
I took the day off.
Some discussion/get to know you questions:
How long have you been involved in fandom?
What made you want to start writing fan fic in the first place?
What was the first fandom for which you wrote fanfic?
Do you still write fic in that fandom?

I've been fannish since as far back as I can remember. The idea of Fandom, however, didn't occur to me til Xena (which was my first fandom.) I was Ms. Lurky Mc Lurky back then though.
It took me about ten years of reading fic and (finally) delurking to get inspired enough by a fandom (due South/C6D) to think that I could write fic too. My first fic was a Hard Core Logo (Canadian Six Degrees movie about a Canadian punk band doing a reunion tour) one.
So it happens that I *still* write both due South AND C6D. I'm not surprised about dS (the canon is a good mix of whimsy and realism) nor about C6D (it's a fandom that encompasses about 75 different Canadian tv, movies and music media--so, it's hard to get bored in it.)
