2300 words done so far today, but I have a bit more to go before posting. Definitely not a bad day, writing-wise!

I've been on vacation at the lake all week, headed home in the morning, so I'll be safely tucked in before the hurricane arrives. I don't expect it to amount to much in my area, but I'm VERY glad not to have to drive 75 miles in it.
